Terms of Purchase, Use & Cancellation

Version 28.09.2026 · These terms apply to RTS Plus access bought on royalturkish.com/practice and to RTS Plus subscriptions bought in the Royal Turkish Schools app. They supplement our general Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which continue to apply to language courses.

1. Who we are

RTS Plus is operated by RTS Royal Schools Dil Okulları Eğitim Danışmanlık Turizm Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Royal Turkish Schools", "we"), a company registered in Türkiye, tax number 7351540656, Gümüşsuyu Mah. Mete Cad. No: 14A, 34437 Beyoğlu / İstanbul. Contact: [email protected], +90 212 244 27 62.

2. What RTS Plus includes

RTS Plus unlocks the full daily lesson path (currently 30 Turkish lessons at A1 level), the audio material, the quizzes, conversation practice with our AI teacher Eda, progress tracking and the digital RTS Plus Certificate of Completion (A1.1). Lessons 1–5 and a limited number of daily Eda messages remain free of charge without RTS Plus. We add new lessons and languages over time; paid access covers everything available in the app during your access period, in all languages we publish. Live lessons, classroom courses and any service delivered by a human teacher are not part of RTS Plus and are sold separately.

3. Price and payment

• Prices: €19.99 for 1 month of access, or €119 for 12 months of access. Prices include any applicable taxes. The price shown at checkout applies.
• Bought on our website (royalturkish.com/practice): you make a one-time payment for 1 month or 12 months of access. There is no automatic renewal and we never charge you again without a new purchase. When the period ends, paid lessons lock again; your progress is kept and you can buy access again at any time.
• Bought in the App Store or Google Play: the purchase is a subscription billed by Apple or Google under their own terms. It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown in the store, until you cancel it in your store settings.
• Any price change applies only to new purchases. For store subscriptions, Apple or Google inform you of a price change before it applies and you may cancel before it takes effect.

4. Ending your access and cancelling store subscriptions

• Bought on our website: nothing to cancel — access simply ends at the end of the period you paid for. For questions, write to [email protected] from your account e-mail.
• Bought in the App Store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RTS Plus → Cancel.
• Bought on Google Play: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → RTS Plus → Cancel.
• Cancelling a store subscription stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the current period. Ending access does not delete your account or your learning progress.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Türkiye you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Because RTS Plus gives immediate access to digital content, before paying on our website you tick a box confirming that access starts immediately and that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the lessons are unlocked. Where the law allows, the right of withdrawal therefore ends when the paid lessons are made available to you.

Beyond the statutory rules we apply a simple goodwill rule: if you have completed no more than two paid lessons, write to us within 14 days of payment and we refund the full amount, no questions asked. Refunds are paid to the original payment method within 14 days. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play must be refunded through Apple or Google, as we have no access to those payments.

6. Your account

You need an e-mail address and a password, or a Google/Apple sign-in, so that we can save your progress across devices. One account is for one learner; please do not share your login. You may delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected]; we then delete your learning data within 30 days, except records we must keep for accounting purposes.

7. Our AI teacher

Eda is an artificial-intelligence tutor, not a human teacher, and this is shown in the app. Eda can occasionally make mistakes; nothing Eda says is legal, medical, financial or immigration advice. Your conversations are stored so that Eda remembers your level and progress, and may be reviewed in anonymised form to improve the service. Please do not enter passwords, payment details or other sensitive personal data in the chat.

8. Certificate

Passing all 30 lessons and providing your full name (first and last name) produces the digital RTS Plus Certificate of Completion (A1.1), issued by Royal Turkish Schools and verifiable online. It is a self-study app certificate: it records your progress in the app. It is not an official course certificate (it is not a Kurs Bitirme Belgesi issued under the Turkish Ministry of National Education, MEB), not an examination result and not an officially recognised language certificate.

9. Age

RTS Plus is intended for learners aged 16 and over. Learners between 13 and 16 may use it with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.

10. Content, availability and changes

We may add, change or retire lessons and features. If we permanently stop the service during a paid period, we refund the unused part of your payment. We do our best to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access; short maintenance interruptions are possible.

11. Intellectual property

All lessons, texts, audio recordings and course materials belong to Royal Turkish Schools. You may use them for your own learning. Copying, redistributing, publishing or using them to train other systems is not permitted.

12. Data protection

We process your data under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR. Details of what we store, why, and your rights are in our Privacy Policy. Data-protection requests: [email protected].

13. Complaints and applicable law

Write to [email protected] and we answer within five working days. These terms are governed by Turkish law; consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Turkish consumers may apply to the district Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court.
