How to Learn Turkish Fast: 7 Steps

Most students reach conversational Turkish (A2–B1) in 4–8 weeks of full-time study. Here is how to get there as quickly as possible.

  1. 1

    Take a free placement test

Before your first lesson, complete our free placement test. This assigns you to the correct CEFR level (A1–C1) so you are never in a group that is too easy or too hard.

  2. 2

Choose your course type and location

Pick the program that fits your goals: Standard (15 lessons/week, €150/week), Intensive (20 lessons/week, €200/week), or Online Group via Zoom (€99/week). Available in Istanbul, Izmir, and online.

  3. 3

Study Mon–Fri with MEB-certified native teachers

Daily lessons in small groups of maximum 8 students. All teachers are certified by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB) and trained in communicative methods — you speak Turkish from day one.

  4. 4

Immerse yourself in Turkish outside the classroom

Use what you learn immediately: order food in Turkish, navigate public transport, explore the bazaar. In Istanbul or Izmir you are surrounded by the language all day. Online students: watch Turkish TV, listen to podcasts and use language exchange apps.

  5. 5

    Build vocabulary with spaced repetition

Review new vocabulary daily using flashcard apps like Anki. Aim for 15–20 new words per day. We provide vocabulary lists aligned to your CEFR level with every lesson — no extra textbooks required.

  6. 6

Track your progress with CEFR milestones

Move through levels A1 → A2 → B1 → B2 → C1 at your own pace. Most full-time students reach A2–B1 in 4–8 weeks. Your teacher assesses your progress weekly and materials are adjusted accordingly.

  7. 7

    Receive your official MEB-accredited certificate

At the end of your course, you receive an official certificate of attendance accredited by the Turkish Ministry of National Education. The certificate states your level, course type, and lessons completed — recognised internationally.
