A Host Organisation With Two Working Worlds

RTS Royal Schools (Erasmus+ OID: E10406065) is a private language school in the heart of Istanbul, teaching Turkish and English to adult international students for over 17 years. Our classrooms, curriculum team and marketing department give education, languages and communication students a real professional setting — not a desk in the corner.

Our sister brand Royal Turkish Travel (TÜRSAB licence 17044) is a destination management company organising tours and cultural programmes across Türkiye. Trainees interested in tourism, hospitality and operations can complete their placement on the travel side — or combine both brands in one traineeship.

You arrive in Istanbul

Orientation day, supervisor introduction, and you begin.

We complete and sign all host-organisation sections — Table A, Table C and the supervisor commitment — and return your documents within 2–3 working days.

What We Provide

Yes — RTS Royal Schools (Erasmus+ OID: E10406065) is a private language school in Istanbul that hosts Erasmus+ trainees year-round. Language schools are eligible host organisations for Erasmus+ traineeships, and our placements cover language education, travel and tourism operations, and digital marketing.
The host organisation completes and signs the Letter of Acceptance and the host sections of the Learning Agreement (Table A, Table C and the supervisor commitment). RTS Royal Schools returns signed documents within 2–3 working days of the online interview.
No — the working language at RTS Royal Schools is English, in an English-speaking environment. Knowledge of Turkish is not required, and trainees may join Turkish classes free of charge to support their daily life in Istanbul.
Yes — recent graduate traineeships are accepted if the placement starts within 12 months of graduation. You must be selected by your university before you graduate, in line with Erasmus+ programme rules.
Typically 2–3 working days after the online interview. We complete the host-organisation sections of the Learning Agreement within the same timeframe, so your university paperwork is not delayed.
An optional accommodation service is available — trainees can book a host family, student residence or private studio through our accommodation programme. Airport transfer can also be arranged on request.
The placement is unpaid; trainees are funded by their Erasmus+ grant, which is paid by the sending university. In return, we provide a dedicated supervisor, a structured training programme, a cultural activity programme and a traineeship certificate.
