Everything you need to know about our online Turkish courses
All online Turkish lessons are delivered live via Zoom. You will need a free Zoom account — no paid subscription required. Classes use HD video, screen sharing, a virtual whiteboard, and breakout rooms for pair practice. You will receive a Zoom meeting link before your first lesson. Zoom works on any device: laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
You need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection (5+ Mbps recommended). A webcam and microphone are recommended for speaking practice — most laptops and phones have these built in. Headphones improve audio quality. No other software or textbooks need to be purchased; all teaching materials are sent digitally before your first lesson.
Group course sessions are recorded and the recording is shared with all enrolled students, so you can review what you missed at any time. For private lessons, you can reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice without any penalty. We recommend attending every session, but we understand that life gets in the way.

We teach all levels from complete beginner (A1) to advanced (C1), following the CEFR framework defined by the Council of Europe. Before your first lesson you take a free placement test so we assign you to the correct level group. You never have to worry about being too advanced or too far behind.
Yes. Online students receive the same certificate as in-person students — accredited by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB) and recognised by Ascentis (UK awarding organisation). The certificate states your level, course type, duration, and number of lessons completed. It is accepted internationally.
Classes run Monday to Friday, 08:00–20:00 Turkish time (UTC+3). This covers most European, Middle Eastern, and Asian timezones. If you are in a very different timezone, private lessons can be scheduled at times that work for both you and your teacher, including some weekend slots.
Yes. If you start with online lessons and later decide to join us in person at our Istanbul or Izmir campus — or vice versa — we can transfer your remaining lessons to the new format. Any price difference will be calculated at the time of transfer. Many students begin online and then continue in person when they visit Turkey.
We accept credit/debit card (via Iyzico), PayPal, and bank transfer. Card and PayPal payments provide instant confirmation. Bank transfer details are provided after booking. All payments are processed in Euros. A one-time €50 registration fee applies to new students.
Yes. Every online Turkish class is conversation-led — you start speaking from the very first lesson. Our native teachers dedicate most of each session to real, spoken Turkish, with grammar introduced in context rather than memorised in isolation. If your main goal is to speak Turkish confidently, choose our conversational online group classes (up to 8 students) or private 1-on-1 lessons, both delivered live on Zoom. We also run dedicated speaking-practice sessions for intermediate and advanced students.
Our online Turkish group class has a maximum of 8 students, so everyone gets regular speaking time and individual feedback. Groups are organised by level (A1–C1) and meet Monday to Friday with 10 lessons per week. Small groups keep the class interactive and affordable (€99/week) while still giving you the structure and accountability that self-study apps can't. New online group classes start every Monday.
