Pusula means "compass". The series grew out of the questions our students ask in class, and every unit pairs an everyday situation, such as breakfast, shopping or renting a flat, with an official one, such as filling in a form or booking an appointment.

Frequently asked questions
Is Pusula a PDF or a printed book?
This page sells the PDF edition (A4 format). You receive it by email straight after payment and can use it on a computer or tablet, or print it.
Can I print the PDF?
Yes. The PDFs are printable, and the Workbook is designed to be printed and written in. Each copy is personalised with the buyer's name and email in the page footer and is for personal use.
How is the book delivered?
Right after payment you receive an email with a download link to your personalised PDF, usually within a few minutes. The link is valid for 72 hours and allows up to 5 downloads, so save the file on your device.
How can I pay?
By card (Visa, Mastercard) through iyzico's secure payment page, or with PayPal. Prices are in euros. After payment the PDF is sent to your email automatically.
Where do I find the audio?
Every listening task has a QR code. Scan it and the recording plays in our free online player at royalturkish.com/kitap/a1 (and /a2, /b1). No app or account is needed. There are about 90–100 recordings per level, plus an online glossary with audio in 9 languages.
Which level should I buy?
Complete beginners start with A1. If you already know some Turkish, take our free online level test and choose the level it recommends. Each level's contents are listed above, unit by unit.
Is there an answer key?
Yes. The Workbook has an answer key and the listening transcripts at the back, including the answers to the coursebook mini tests. A separate Answer Key for all coursebook exercises is in preparation.
Can I use Pusula with a teacher or an online course?
Yes. Pusula was written for our own classes in Istanbul, Izmir and online, and works with any teacher. If you would like live lessons, see our online Turkish courses.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Pusula is digital content delivered immediately, so the right of withdrawal ends once delivery starts; you confirm this at checkout. If a file is faulty or does not arrive, write to [email protected] and we will sort it out quickly.
Will I get an invoice?
For card payments your invoice is emailed to you automatically right after payment. If you paid with PayPal or need an invoice with your company details, write to [email protected] from the email address you used for the order.
When will B2, C1 and C2 be available?
B2, C1 and C2 are in preparation, together with Answer Keys, Teacher's Books and graded readers. Use "Notify me" below and we will write to you when they are released.
