Antalya is known for its spectacular Mediterranean coastline, the ancient Roman harbour city of Kaleiçi (Old Town), the dramatic Düden and Karpuzkaldıran waterfalls, and the nearby archaeological sites of Perge, Aspendos, and Termessos. The region also has some of Turkey's finest beaches at Konyaaltı and Lara.
May–June and September–October offer warm sea temperatures (24–27°C) and manageable crowds. July and August are the peak summer months — very hot (35°C+) with full beaches and high prices. Winter (November–March) is mild and uncrowded, ideal for cultural sightseeing, though the sea is cool.
